The Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies Viola Programme is designed to provide students with the highest level of instruction in the art of viola playing. Our experienced faculty of professional violists will guide you through the fundamentals of viola technique, repertoire, and performance. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes private lessons, chamber music, and orchestral studies. Our goal is to help you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful violist.

Our private lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student. Our faculty will work with you to develop a personalized practice plan that will help you reach your goals. We also offer chamber music classes, which provide an opportunity to collaborate with other musicians and learn the art of ensemble playing. Our orchestral studies classes will help you develop the skills necessary to perform in an orchestra.

Requirements for the Viola Programme at Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies

The Viola Programme at Giuseppe Verdi Institute of Music Studies is designed to provide students with the highest level of musical training. To be accepted into the programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of prior musical training on the viola.
• A minimum grade of B in all music theory and history courses.
• A minimum grade of B in all performance courses.
• A minimum grade of C in all other academic courses.
• A successful audition.
