Undergraduate studies
1. Application form issued by the Department of Studies of Aristotle University with a recent passport size photo attached to the application.
2. Registration certificate issued by the candidate’s School.
3. All the documentation that was submitted to the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs for the initial admission of the candidate to the University. The documents submitted will be photocopies certified by the school, which the candidate is attending.
4. A declaration or a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the candidate’s country attesting to the candidate’s and his/her family’s need for financial assistance.
5. The candidate’s declaration that no close relative of his/hers is holding a scholarship granted by any foreign or Greek authority and also that no relative of his/hers is a permanent resident of Greece.
6. Recommendation letters in Greek or English from two referees.
7. A certificate issued by the School of Modern Greek Language of A.U.TH stating that the candidate is proficient in the Modern Greek Language to such a level that he/she is able to attend university courses. The candidate΄s performance, rated from 5 to 10, must be on this certificate.
8. A Curriculum Vitae in Greek language.
Postgraduate
1. Application form issued by the Department of Studies of Aristotle University with a recent passport size photo attached to the application.
2. Registration certificate issued by the candidate’s School or Faculty, stating a) specialization for postgraduate students and the duration of his/hers studies and b) PhD thesis topic for doctoral students.
3. An Undergraduate degree recognized by HELLENIC NATIONAL ACADEMIC RECOGNITION AND INFORMATION CENTER (H-NARIC).The grade on the degree should be “VERY GOOD” or “EXCELLENT”.
4. A favorable proposal for granting the scholarship, by a) the Coordinating Committee of the Postgraduate Studies Program in accordance with the consent of the School’s Special Synthesis General Assembly (postgraduate students) or b) by the supervising professor or members of the Three-party Counseling Committee in accordance with the consent of the Department and School’s Administrative Council (doctoral students). This proposal must bare an analysis of the candidate’s character and his/hers expected progress based on a working timetable.
5. A declaration form or a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the candidate’s country attesting to the candidate and his/her family’s need for financial assistance.
6. The candidate’s declaration that no close relative of his/hers is holding a scholarship granted by any foreign or Greek authority and also that no relative of his/hers is a permanent resident of Greece.

8. A certificate issued by the School of Modern Greek Language of AUTH attesting that the candidate is proficient in the Modern Greek Language to such a level that he/ she is able to attend university courses. The candidate΄s performance, rated from 5 to 10, must be on this certificate.
9. A certification stating that the candidate and his/her parents are of non-Greek origin.
10. Curriculum Vitae in Greek language.
Candidates of the immigrant category (foreign nationals of non Greek origin, whose parents are permanent residents in Greece) must submit documents 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and moreover:
- Copy of income tax receipt
- Declaration that neither he/she nor any close relative of his/hers is holding a scholarship granted by any foreign or Greek authority
