The objective of the award is to acknowledge the outstanding academic performance of international students joining ANU and aims to support them in their transition to the Australian National University.

The award provides a 50% tuition fee scholarship for up to 1 year of a Graduate Diploma or Masters coursework program offered by the College. The Scholarship does not cover any application and deposit fee, the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) premium, fares to and from Australia, the payment of reading and study materials, living expenses, tuition fee, accommodation or any other costs associated with studying.The Scholarship is not renewable.

Applicants must be international students defined under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. Dependents of the staff of diplomatic or consular missions are also eligible. They have to be citizens of 1 of the countries specified by the College. They must be commencing students who have received an offer of admission into a Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework program offered by the College.
No separate scholarship application is required as candidates will be automatically considered based on their admissions application and meeting the eligibility criteria. The application deadline for Semester 1, entry is 1 December, and that for Semester 2, entry is 1 May.
