The Canberra Institute of Technology is still currently a sizable multi-campus provider of a broad assortment of vocational education and training programs. CIT offers over 230 apps at different rates through five campuses across Canberra.
CIT Award plans are endorsed by industry and accredited by the CIT Advisory Council under delegation from the ACT Accreditation and Registration Council.
Studying CIT is different from the school or university processes. Unlike universities, that provide an even more general and theory-based education, CIT specializes in teaching the knowledge and skills for jobs. CIT intends to give quality services and programs, relevant curricula and modern facilities.
CIT apps cater for part-time or full students in addition to people in either full-time or part time employment. Some courses can be studied on the internet or at a single pace via a number of the flexible learning centres.
Programs are run only if there are enough students and resources. Each app has its own entry requirements. Selection criteria and/or selection processes affect many popular apps.
CIT offers traineeship apps that are promoted in local newspapers. Fee Assistance, concessions and HELP loans are all offered for qualified applications where students meet certain requirements.
