Warsaw University of Humanities

The Warsaw University of Humanities is a non-public university that has been active in the educational market for a number of years.

Warsaw University of Humanitieswas founded in 2002 and since then has enjoyed unwavering interest of students, offering candidates a rich and thoughtful course of study in the fields of: Radio and Television Journalism, Photography in New Media. The offer of the university was extended to include the magister (Master’s) degree in Pedagogy (Specialization in Personnel and Business Management in the education sector and related companies).

Warsaw University of Humanities attaches great importance to the best quality of education, so all classes are prepared at the highest level, with a focus on practical, interesting and active learning so that they give them the opportunity to gain an attractive occupation that guarantees a place in the labor market. 

Today, versatility and flexibility in the approach to work is important – therefore, Warsaw University of Humanities is still adapting the educational offer, and the teaching methods to the needs of the market, while also ensuring the comfort of work and learning. With such an attitude, Warsaw University of Humanities graduates are thoroughly prepared to work in the media and for the media, as well as in advertising, photographic studios; perform professional photo shoots or own artistic projects at various cultural institutions, editorial offices, public opinion centers, as well as businesses, and social and administrative institutions.

By the decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW-DNS-WUN-6014-23368-1/12) dated 30 Match 2012, has been granted a license for an indefinite period of time.

• Journalism and Social Communication (licencjat /bachelor/ studies)

The Bureau of the National Accreditation Commission, by Resolution No. 176/2011 of 24 March 2010 on the quality of education in the field of Journalism and Social Communication at the level of first cycle studies, issued a positive assessment.

As a result of the implemented accreditation procedures and visits to WUH, the State Accreditation Commission assessed the “education concept, study plan and curricula as well as the development of the didactic base, enrichment of the library resources and development of the internal education quality assurance system

We offer individual rooms, 2 and 3-bed rooms, fully equipped i.e. beds, lockers, bedlinen sets, desks. Kitchenette equipped with electric cookers, microwaves, refrigerators. WiFi available. 
The monthly cost is PLN 600 per person (the price is for The Warsaw University of Business students only). In addition, the first month includes a refundable deposit.

Excellent staff of professionally active creators

We have invited experienced practitioners to conduct the classes.  The faculty members are, first and foremost, passionate people, and outstanding specialists, who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with the students. In pursuit of a high level of practical training, we employ prominent journalists from various media, including Polish Public Television Radio, renowned Polish photographs, as well as high-class cultural experts, who devote themselves to it every day – practitioners, and coaches, consultants in scope of IT in management of entities.

Classes conducted in small groups

Smaller groups are ensuring the personal touch of academic teachers to every student, every participant receives personalized consultation.

We educate in practice

We put emphasis on practice. We offer a rich program of workshops conducted by professionals from various media industries. We teach professional secrets in professional studios: ATM Studio, Polskie Radio S.A., and photography studios: CUKRY, SÓL. We make our own TV show, Czas na kulturę, which is broadcast on the terrestrial digital television, satellite television, and on the Internet.

Convenient location

The campus, and the radio studio, are located in the very center of the city, which means you can reach us by a tram or a bus. A graphic design studio, Studio CUKRY, is an original workspace located near the university, while Studio SÓL is located in Mokotow.

Warsaw University of Humanities students are open-minded, creative young people. They not only learn together, but organize events, travel and have fun together. We traveled together to Prague, Strasbourg, Brussels, Nuremberg and Paris.
