Stenden trains its students for leadership positions in the hotel industry. We provide our students with a well-balanced mix of theory and practice.

Stenden trains its students for leadership positions in the hotel industry. We provide our students with a well-balanced mix of theory and practice, inclusive of training in our own 4* hotel and a paid internship in the 4th year. Many international students grab the opportunity of going to USA or UK for their internship, gaining extra international experience. Theory semesters cover topics such as marketing management, strategic management, finance and control, human resources management and quality control. All major topics will be related to the hotel industry. Students with prior working experience and an educational background in hotel management can apply for a short track programme. IHM is also offered at one of Stenden's campus sites in either Thailand, Indonesia, Qatar or South-Africa. Unique features for this programme: * Stenden has its own unique commercial 4**** University Hotel to learn all skills to become a hotel manager * Largest hotel management programme in Europe * Worldwide reputation within the hospitality industry * Lectors with PhD degrees stand firm for the academic quality of the programme
