A distinct feature of the Michigan Ross MSCM Program, these industry leaders work with faculty to center the curriculum on the fundamental skills companies need to address their supply chain issues. Ross MSCM students can meet one-on-one with council members about trends in supply chain management, employment options, and career coaching through such channels as:

Curriculum gives you deep, functional supply chain management experience with the perspective of a general manager.

Supply chain management isn’t a tactical function — it is a business function. It encompasses marketing, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, IT, and customer relations. The business acumen you’ll gain at Michigan Ross prepares you to approach problems holistically and become the kind of innovative leader companies need to manage the central nervous system of any global company — the supply chain.

The Michigan Ross MSCM Program begins coursework in January of each year and comprises the Winter Term (January-April), a paid consulting project from May-August, and Fall Term (September-December.) A total of 30 credits is required to earn the degree. Students will fulfill at least three of the required 30 credits through electives.

Loan Options

PRIVATE LOANS

The majority of Ross Graduate students fund the cost of their business degree through student loans.

FEDERAL LOANS

The University of Michigan participates in the Federal Direct Lending Program. The federal government is the lender for all federal loans offered through the University of Michigan.

Scholarships

Ross Master of Supply Chain Management students are eligible for several scholarship opportunities:

• The Ross Master of Supply Chain Management program awards a number of scholarships to students admitted to the MSCM program. Scholarships are given based on exceptional academic ability, achievements, expected contribution to our community and the availability of funds. All admitted students are considered for scholarships and no separate application is required. Scholarships generally range from $2,000 to quarter tuition.
• As an admitted MSCM student and member of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations, you’ll be eligible for scholarship opportunities granted by the Tauber Institute for Global Operations There is no application process – all students are considered for scholarship awards and will be notified of awards after they have been admitted into the program.

Military & Veterans

Ross is a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program. For those who are 100 percent eligible for Chapter 33, the University of Michigan and Ross will cover most of your unmet tuition needs. We do not limit the number of participants and cover all admitted students who are eligible.
