The ever growing interest among business professors and managers to supply chains, the development of higher level service markets, connected information systems including tumultuous technologies, cloudcomputing and data analytics, new management methods and approaches, and the pressure of international competition, have placed a premium on people who have a wide understanding of how to plan and manage complex business operations and associated processes. Further, in the current volatile environment, risk and complexity in supply chains are major issues faced by industry that motivates businesses to engender a more organic capability to deal with unexpected disruptions. This course is intended to cater for the needs of those utilized in most sectors of business, and that seek high level understanding of supply chain programs, procurement strategies, operations and logistics management. The Guru of Strategic Supply Chain Management (Extension) is intended for people that would like to obtain significant insight and techniques within these places. The excess subject choices the application provides comprises opportunity to specialise more deeply in to the core strategic and tactical component of network and logistics network design, as well as the systematic application of improvement methodology within procurement and supply chain processes that lessen variability and uncertainty throughout the supply chain enabling better control of goods and service quality. In addition to operations and supply chain management capacities, students further enhance skills, professional training, expert understanding and capabilities through improved understanding of organisational and management methods and international contexts.   • Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional credentials which demonstrates possibility to pursue graduate studies. Applicants having a suitable graduate certification needs to have done it together using a minimum of a credit score. The English proficiency requirement for global students or local applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
