The Doctor of Philosophy (integral ) is really just a four-year research degree which integrates a conventional three-year PhD thesis with one year of coursework subjects, combining generic research training and discipline-specific content into a single level. All students must tackle the coursework element of this degree and reach at least 65 percent in each area before being admitted in the three-year research component.
