This qualification reflects the project functions of workers in the accounting business, including BAS Agents and contract bookkeepers; rather than those employees performing accounting tasks for organisations in a range of industries. It includes lodging and preparing business and instalment activity statements, and providing advice or addressing the Commissioner on behalf of a citizen in relation to activity statements. Individuals in those functions apply theoretical and specialist knowledge and skills to work peacefully, and exercise decision in completing regular and non-routine activities.Licensing/Regulatory InformationWork functions from the occupational areas where this eligibility may be utilized are susceptible to regulatory conditions. Other states apply, including a designated period of experience. Persons searching BAS broker registration should check current registration conditions with the TPB, as registration requirements are assessed regularly.
