This qualification reflects the function of individuals in accounting and seeking skilled recognition, including tax agents, accounts managers and business analysts; and to employees performing a range of accounts management activities for businesses in a range of businesses. At this level individuals are expected to apply theoretical and technical skills in a range of situations and to show initiative and judgement in preparation activities. They've freedom in performing complex operations and certainly will be responsible for planning, organizing and assessing the work of the others within broad but broadly speaking well-defined parameters.Licensing/Regulatory InformationWork functions in the occupational areas at which this qualification could be properly used are at the mercy of regulatory conditions. Refer to the FNS Financial Services Training Package Companion Volume Implementation Guide or the appropriate regulator for certain help with requirements.This qualification includes units which comprise an approved Tax Practitioner Board (TPB) class in Australian law law and commercial law, which are relevant for registration as a tax representative. Persons seeking registration with the TPB should assess current registration conditions with the TPB, as registration requirements have been reviewed regularly.
