The Master of Professional Accounting provides you with the skills and knowledge required to be successful when working in the finance or accounting fields. This program focuses on teaching knowledge and skills in the areas of accounting, finance, computer software applications, economics, statistics, and business law. Upon completion of this program you will have the ability to undertake accounting analysis, research and provide advice.
The Master of Professional Accounting is aimed at those who have completed an undergraduate degree. It is suitable if you are interested in a career change and employment in accounting and financial management orientated careers. This two year full-time or three year part-time program is offered both on-campus and by distance education. You will study 12 core courses in accounting in areas such as financial accounting, auditing, management accounting and ethical practice, Australian taxation law and economics for business.
You may exit this program after a specific number of courses are completed with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Professional Accounting qualifications.
