Commerce (Accounting and Accounting Technologies)

From the Accounting major you will truly have a solid base in accounting, auditing, taxation and relevant places of business law and monetary management, and also be able to employ to knowledge across a selection of accounting contexts. You are going to learn how to develop and communicate information related to the fiscal operation of businesses, and utilize your accounting knowledge to support firm decisionmaking. The Accounting Technologies major provides comprehensive understanding of the use of technology in accounting and related areas. You will study topics in managerial accounting, computer accounting suites, accounting modelling and accounting invoice investigation, and explore the challenges for offices using ecommerce. This dual major sits within the Bachelor of Commerce degree. To apply to this major, you will make an application to the job of Commerce.
