Specialise in the development and use of computers and information systems for bookkeeping purposes. You'll be introduced to a wide assortment of accounting principles, and also learn how to manage, plan, analyse and design the most information technologies used in organisations. From the Accounting major you'll have a sound foundation in accounting, auditing, taxation and relevant regions of business law and financial direction, and also be able to apply to comprehension across a selection of bookkeeping contexts. You'll learn how to develop and convey information related to the fiscal operation of organisations, and use your own accounting knowledge to encourage business decisionmaking. From the Business Information Systems important you will learn how business information systems are selected, managed and implemented to business problems. You'll also discover ways to analyse systems and manage projects. This double major sits at the Bachelor of Commerce degree.
