Commerce (Accounting and Business Law)

Gain insight into legal matters connected to the accounting profession. Discover the procedures in which law is created, changed and implemented to business and government. Within this dual major you'll consider the effects of the law on various accounting scenarios, and also gain knowledge and skills of accounting, auditing and taxation. You'll obtain substantial knowledge of torts, property, trusts and trade techniques that can prepare one for a specialised accounting career. This dual major sits at the Bachelor of Commerce degree. To apply to this major, you must make an application for the job of Commerce.
