This program gives an opportunity for registered nurses to acquire an enhanced degree of knowledge and skill in nursing training, and plan specialist roles in selected areas of healthcare. The course demonstrates a clear integration with advanced practice competencies that have been established by key professional nursing organisations and various specialty nursing groups. The class aims to further develop expertise in areas including advanced nursing practice in selected specialties, nursing research and scholarship, and leadership and management in healthcare.
- A completed recognised Bachelor Degree (or more prize ) in nursing and registration as a nurse using the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). International students: a completed recognised bachelor level (or greater award) in nursing
- Or a completed recognised associate degree in nursing and one year work experience as a registered nurse.
