The masters program in Advanced Product Design offers students who wish to work as industrial designers a high-quality education in aesthetic, technical and strategical issues.
The program consists of both theoretical and practical subjects. It integrates advanced form treatment, problem identification and analysis, creative and visualisation techniques with business oriented subjects such as strategic design and professional practice. The program trains students to work as industrial design consultants developing products and system solutions for industry, institutions and public authorities. A major part of the project work is done in collaboration with actors in these areas. The program conveys a holistic view of the industrial design process and emphasizes the following areas.
Problem identification and analysis, User-centered innovation, Concept development, Emerging technologies, Strategic design.
The program is international and the language is English.

A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, or Bachelor's degree in equivalent subject area + Portfolio.
