Antanas Gustaitis Aviation Institute in VGTU is offering Integrated (5 year) studies in Aircraft Piloting programme completely in English language. The study programme offers specific practical training using aircrafts, simulators and other aviation equipment in Flight Training and Air Traffic Control units, Aviation Engineering Practical Training Depot and Aviation Specialists Qualification improvement Centre.
There are two entrance tests for Aircraft piloting programme:
Professional assessment test;
Physical fitness test.

Z1. Mathematics knowledge: mathematical analyse, differential and integral calculation, differential equations, digital methods, theory of probability, statistics, MATLAB.

Professional status: Aircraft piloting graduates have ability to be employed in Lithuanian military air forces, board duty of Interior Affairs Ministry, "AirBaltic", "Wizzair" and other private aviation companies, pilot schools and Antanas Gustaitis aviation institute.
The programme includes:
14 ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) courses
215 hours of aircraft piloting training;
55 hours on the simulator FNPT II MCC.
All AGAIs theoretical and practical training activities meet the standard requirements of international aviation organizations ICAO and EASA as certified by Lithuanian Civil Aviation Administration.
Our students acquire:
Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering
ATPL license issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Aircrafts for training: Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Cessna 172S, Piper Pa-34-220T;
Helicopters: Cabri G2
Flight simulator: FNPT II MCC for aircrafts Cessna 172, Piper Seneca, Beachcraft King Air 200 and not certified FNPT type Boeing 737;
Training aerodrome: Kyvikes aerodrome (20 km outside of Vilnius).
After studies
After a five-year Aircraft Piloting degree programme, the student receives Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
A graduate of the programme is also prepared for ATPL - Airline Transport Pilot Licence. The license is issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). To obtain the licence the student has to complete ATPL programme and take exams at CAA. With the license student can go to a specific employer and train on the particular aircraft type.

Dates of the test: 2015-04-06, 2015-05-11, 2015-06-19 2015-07-05 registration is necessary.
Test is held in three stages:
First stage (duration 1 hour 30 minutes)
The first stage is to assess operational abilities required for profession (with pencil on paper):
Compasses and Clocks examine spatial orientation - the ability to focus on a plane and in the three-dimensional space;
Scale 1 examines the short-term memory and the ability to quickly calculate;
"Device awareness, Block computing" and "Rotated blocks examines spatial orientation/visualization (the ability to create a three-dimensional model of the situation from the available information);
"Hidden figures examines the attention allocation;
The information in the table examines information perception and attention allocation.
Second stage (duration 2 hours 30 minutes)
Applicants carry out three individual tests:
MMPI methodology to diagnose personality characteristics and deviations from the norm;
Holland Methodology - to assess adequacy of career choices and fitness for the profession;
Kraepelin methodology to assess mental productivity and focus variations.
In the third stage (duration 1 hour) candidates participate in three individual interviews with each of the members of the enrolment commission. These interviews assess individual personality characteristics.
Physical fitness test
The test consists of three athletic tasks:
For males 100 metre run, 3000 metre run, pull-ups.
For females 100 metre run, 2000 metre run, crunches.
Medical examination
Each entrant must undergo a medical examination. Medical examination is carried out by the Aeromedical Centres civil aviation medical experts (CAGEK). JAR-FCL First class health certificates are issued by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Work Experience
No work experience is required.
