This qualification reflects the function of workers who provide therapeutic and program related service to allied health care professionals. The worker is required to run program and therapeutic related tasks under the guidance of an allied health professional. Supervision can be direct, indirect or remote and has to occur within business requirements. The worker is required to determine client circumstances that require extra input from the allied health practitioner. The worker could be engaged to operate in a specialization area or work generically through the business in delivery of allied health assistance services. The worker, in conjunction with the allied healthcare, could have responsibility for supervising other allied health support employees. To attain this qualification, the candidate will need to have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Prerequisites of those units of competency.No law, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements affect this qualification at the time of book.
