The Master of Applied Design and Art allows students and professionals to reach a superior level of expertise and excellence in modern style and art training. The course intends to create creative and professional skills through studies from combination and interdisciplinary structure and art training. It's suitable for applicants with knowledge and expertise from different disciplines as well as people with proper credentials in design and art. Students will learn through conversation, reflection and the production of initial and innovative solutions to studio based or industrially related projects. The study program promotes independent research, originality, creative leadership and awareness of the needs of contemporary society.
Graduates are Recognized by professional Institutions such as the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) and Design Institute of Australia. Graduates will also be eligible for membership at the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), Perth Art Directors Club (PADC), '' The Design Management Institute, and Design Institute of Australia, Perth Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA), Arts Source: The Artists Foundation of Western Australia, FORM (originally CraftWest).
