Experience Civil
The Associate Degree of Construction (Civil) gives you the opportunity to experience the study of civil construction before undertaking a full degree. Study while you work, either via distance or on-campus, and have the flexibility to adapt your study to your life.
From 2014 the Associate Degree of Construction (Civil) will be supported on-campus at Fraser Coast. Supported study mode provides you with the opportunity to fit study around your personal commitments via distance study, while still having regular face-to-face access to academic support on-campus.
Previous experience through TAFE or work?
Already got a Diploma through TAFE? Maybe an Apprenticeship through your work experience? Then fast track your Degree with the credit you’ve already earned.
Why Civil?
The Associate Degree of Construction (Civil) will give you the freedom of choice to start up your career in the civil construction profession or set a stepping stone for further study. Through practical and relevant courses you will acquire a range of foundation skills in the areas of problem-solving, analysis, engineering design and construction and management, as well as specialised skills in built environment, quantity surveying and building services design. The knowledge you gain will prepare you to operate as a construction management para-professional and position you to excel in a variety of entry-level construction management positions involved in significant infrastructure and engineering projects.
