This course was introduced to cater for industry's demand for highly skilled graduates in advanced areas of analysis, design and manufacture in the automotive industry. Although traditionally this industry has been associated with high volume vehicle manufacture, the nature of the industry has changed over the last decade and is now dominated by automotive component manufacturers and specialist design and consultancy houses. This course provides the range of skills and knowledge required by these organisations.


It is designed to appeal to graduate engineers wishing to upgrade their Bachelors degree to UK Masters level and so gaining specialist knowledge and skills relevant to the automotive industry and for professional engineers already working in the industry to enable future career enhancement by deepening their knowledge and expertise.

A degree equivalent to a UK upper second class honours (2:1), or higher, in engineering or a physical science discipline.We also welcome and accept students with a wide range of international equivalent qualifications.English language requirement: A pass at GCSE level in English language (grade C or above). If English is not your first language, you are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English. You will need to meet our minimum requirements for one of the following recognised English language tests: the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS), the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Pearson Test of English Academic.
