This dual degree enables one to create lifelong learning abilities and mathematical inquisitiveness while understanding emerging medical issues. Biomedical research and the growth of new biomedical products subscribe to improving health outcomes worldwide. You will obtain knowledge and skills to act within multidisciplinary teams from biomedical research, development and commercialisation. The Bachelor of Mathematics element of the dual degree will provide opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in math and the power to apply math, statistics, computational approaches and operations research to realworld issues.

Depending on Previous year Components selected: Australian Society for Medical Research; Both Australian and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology; Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Australian Association of Clinical Biochemists; Australian Society for Microbiology; Australian Neuroscience Society; The Endocrine Society of Australia; Society of Reproductive Biology; Both Australian and New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists; Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society; Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society;

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • Assumed Knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • Biology (Units 3 & 4, C) and Chemistry (Units 4 & 3 C).
