Students of the course will acquire an awareness of the arrangement and function of the human body and also will be well-versed in the intricate interrelationships between disease and health. Students will: understand the way the body works at all levels; employ their knowledge of health and disorder to real life situations; find just how humans interact with and respond with their environment; interval an extensive assortment of scientific disciplines including mathematics, chemistry, and biochemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, pathobiology, data analysis and genetics; gain proficiency and experience in biomedical science lab skills for application in a wide variety of research laboratories; and also love the flexibility of choosing from other electives including psychology, and ecology, sports science, sociology, management, education, law enforcement and foreign languages.
Admission for the course is based in an entrance status. A status can be accomplished by means of a year 12 ATAR, additional Australian qualification, work experience, or an overseas qualification.
