Biotechnology

Biotechnology is a new program at TWU that offers students a wide variety of options including a major, an honours program, a multidisciplinary major in biotechnology and chemistry, and an interdisciplinary major in biotechnology and business. A degree in biotechnology is a unique experience which gives students knowledge in both science and business. The degree also approaches ethical concerns from both a scientific and Christian perspective, allowing students to contribute reasoned and ethical interpretations to the discourse of the biotechnological marketplace.Internships and co-op placements are incorporated into the programs to give students marketable skills and an employment advantage.
