The key to leadership success is applying the right approach in the right situation. The goal of our management program is to create opportunities for our students to learn and experience leadership by applying the latest management theory to real-world problems both inside and outside the classroom. Our students join us with an open mind and a desire to learn. We then challenge them to take part in a unique curriculum designed to test their assumptions, evolve their ideas, expand their minds, and leave with the knowledge and experience to become the next generation of business leaders.
The UTSC Management’s curriculum is grounded in a strong core of business fundamentals. From there, students have the opportunities to apply their knowledgein multidisciplinary and multi-dimensional courses. Through case-based learning, idea incubators, business simulations, a variety of co-curricular opportunities, and the co-op experience, our program truly offers students the EXPERIENCE TO LEAD.

Approximately 50 of the most highly qualified students applying to first year of direct entry, undergraduate studies will be distinguished as President’s Scholars of Excellence. This distinction includes a $10,000 entrance scholarship in first year; guaranteed access to part-time, meaningful, on-campus employment during second year; and guaranteed access to an international learning opportunity during a student’s university studies. Additional features may be offered by the admitting Faculty; these will be communicated explicitly in the letter of admission.
Outstanding students are considered automatically for these scholarships. The scholarship is tenable only in the Faculty that makes the offer. Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration at the University in the fall of the year the award is granted; retention of the higher year opportunities attached to the award requires the student’s continuing full-time registration in good standing.
