Requirements

Who can apply to IE University?

  • First-year students who have not yet started their university studies.
  • Students transferring from a recognized university. If you have already been enrolled at another university and have an academic record of the studies you have completed, you will be considered for admission based on the recognition of your credits or by validating your studies.

In either case, if you come from outside the European Union you must submit your application well in advance, and then be admitted to IE University before the month of July, as it takes time to process your student visa in order to study in Spain.

Entry requirements to IE University vary depending on whether you are a first-year student, a student transferring from another university or if you simply want to do part of your degree at IE University as Visiting or Exchange Student from a school which has an exchange agreement with IE University.
