The Master Programme in Business Administration is a second-cycle study programme at an advanced level for those who have a Bachelor of Science degree with business administration as a main subject. The programme prepares you for qualified business administration tasks in public and private organizations and companies or to be self-employed.

Specialize within business development or accounting
You can choose to specialize either within business development or accounting. As a business developer you will specialize in management and marketing with a clear international focus.

If you choose the accountancy profile you will study courses within accounting and auditing, which will provide you with a good foundation for a career as an auditor.

Start working straight away or focus on research
An education at an advanced level will place you in a very favourable position on the labour market.

You will also be prepared for further research studies. If you want to continue your research within business development you can do this within the framework of a special research school we have created in collaboration with Mid Sweden University.

Applicants are accepted twice a year. The programme welcomes both international and Swedish students.

The general entry requirements for admission to courses and study programs that lead to the award of a second-cycle qualification are regulated in The Higher Education Ordinance. Qualified to master programmes are students which possesses a first-cycle qualification comprising at least 180 credits with Business Administration as a major (90 credits) or a corresponding qualification from abroad. Also required is knowledge equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school course English B or equivalent to one of the following tests: IELTS: an overall mark of 6.5 and no section below 5.5; TOEFL (paper-based): Score of 4.5 (scale 1-6) in written test and a total score of 575; TOEFL (internet-based): Score of 20 (scale 0-30) in written test and a total score of 90.
