A full-time MBA or part-time MBA
The one year full-time MBA or two year part-time MBA courses are internationally geared and will prepare you for the global market. The MBA is taught entirely in English, the world's prime business language. With around 80 per cent of our MBA students from overseas and staff from different nationalities, you can start developing your international network from day one. Because we are a university of applied sciences, rather than a research university, you are guaranteed hands on and relevant, 'real life' experiences on the MBA.
An MBA in The Hague
A Master of Business Administration in The Hague is the perfect way to hone your business skills. The MBA is hosted in hub of international institutions and companies. The International City of Peace, Justice and Security hosts 80 justice organisations and is a United Nations city along with New York, Geneva and Vienna. The International Yugoslavia Tribunal, Europol and the International Criminal Court are also based in The Hague. There are approximately 300 international businesses at MBA students' fingertips including major multinationals like Shell, Siemens, KPN, Unilever and DSM.
MBA skills and knowledge
Continuously updated to reflect the dynamic business world, both the full-time MBA and part-time MBA are up to speed with the latest trends, employ the best lecturers and include recent and relevant case studies. MBA students will gain a professional edge and a deep understanding of the business world through the four phases of the MBA: understanding, deepening knowledge, implementation and integration through a final thesis. On the Master of Business Administration, you'll work as a global team and tackle management problems with your extensive knowledge of business processes, economics, marketing and finance.
MBA accreditation
The MBA at The Hague University of Applied Sciences is the oldest recognised MBA in the Netherlands taught in English. The MBA full-time and MBA part-time are both accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). The MBA is run through the Academy for Masters and Professional Courses (MPC).
MBA for hands on experience
During the MBA you will learn how to apply business theory to true-to-life scenarios. MBA students explore up to date case studies and role-play as business consultants advising organisations with their business issues on this masters. Business administration and management skills are core to your personal or professional development. The MBA full-time and MBA part-time cover the 'nuts and bolts' of economics, finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship.
The Master of Business Administration programme consists of four Quarters. Each of these Quarters covers the key building blocks of the MBA course: economics, finance, accountancy, human resources, marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship. You receive a broad-based education and go increasingly deeper into the subject matter.
Study load
The full-time version lasts one year, with a minimum of five days of lessons per week. In total, you spend forty to sixty hours a week on the MBA. In the part-time version, you attend lectures a minimum of two evenings a week and must take into account a time investment of fifteen to twenty hours. You work in groups, attend lectures and prepare individual assignments. The following is the prior academic year's curriculum scheme.

You are a manager or a specialist (e.g. an accountant) with at least a higher educational degree and two years of relevant work experience. You are completely dedicated to your career, but you notice that you lack certain skills and/or knowledge. The Master of Business Administration programme enhances your career opportunities, increases your salary and ensures further development and growth, at a professional and personal level.
Work environment, organisation and employees
You want to provide positive leadership, improve your management skills and increase your business knowledge. For this, you look beyond the standard management models. You are interested in the interaction between the work environment, organisation and employees, and you always keep the long-term perspective in mind. The MBA qualifies you to work together with specialists, exchange knowledge and take strategic decisions. You are able to analyse, research and implement. Thanks to the varied and multidisciplinary curriculum, you have greater employability.
Motivation, ambition and entrepreneurship
Within a short period of time, the MBA prepares you to function at a strategic level. Motivation, drive, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit are essential for successfully completing this intensive Master's programme. In addition, it is important to have ample insight into human nature and good communication skills. The average age for the full-time version is 29 years and for the part-time version, it is 35 years.

In the Master of Business Administration programme, you find yourself in diverse company. The students as well as the lecturers come from all corners of the world. Some lecturers have earned their spurs in the practice, others in science. Therefore, they represent a balanced mix of academic knowledge and practical experience.

Accreditation
Degree and recognition
The Master of Business Administration programme of the Academy for Masters & Professional Courses is the first English Master's programme to have been recognised by the Dutch Validation Council (DVC). Based on the strict criteria of the DVC, the MBA programme was awarded a score of 90 percent. The institution found that the MBA programme produced state of the art, or in other words, outstanding students.
NVAO
The MBA programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences is a professional Master's course. The programme is recognised by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). This organisation monitors the quality of higher education in the region.
Internationally recognised
