The Master´s Programme in Business Innovation (MBI) combines the traditional strengths of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) with a manager´s perspective on new technologies.
New technologies give rise to new products, markets, processes and organizational forms. We prepare our students for the constantly growing labour market surrounding technologically based changes. Trade and industry require people who implement change: who recognize the new technologies´ potentials and realize business solutions.
The student will find that our individual courses are more concerned with identifying opportunities and the responsible application of diverse technologies than with solving problems according to specific formulae. Opportunities are to be found where new possibilities arise and "know-how" is in short supply.
The MBI is taught in German.

Accreditation
The HSG has earned the EQUIS (2001) and AACSB (2003) accreditations and consequently has obtained the two most demanding international seals of approval for business schools.
In the 2013 Financial Times Global Masters in Management Ranking we are in 1st place with the Master in Strategy and International Management and in 7th place with the CEMS Master in International Management. Our Master in Banking and Finance is ranked 10th in theFinancial Times Masters in Finance Ranking.
