As the aviation industry continues to grow globally and technology advancements are made in aircraft structures, systems and management processes, supervisory and management staff with a focused understanding of the aviation industry are becoming highly desirable. The Aircraft Maintenance Management major will help you tap into that demand. 

As part of your studies, you will also undertake courses which cover a range of skills vital for a successful career in management. You will gain a broad knowledge and skills complementing your major and making you highly employable.

Graduate with two qualifications

You will graduate from your degree with two qualifications – a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics) or a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical), and a USQ Bachelor of Business (Aircraft Maintenance Management).

1In order to complete the Aircraft Maintenance Management major, you need to have successfully completed a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics) or a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) with a registered training provider. One of these diplomas replaces the need for a second major. 

 

Entry requirements

  • Year 12 English (4 SA) or equivalent
  • Maths A (4 SA) or equivalent is assumed
  • Successfully completed a relevant Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics) or a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) with a registered training provider. 

English Language Requirements

Domestic and international students from a non-English speaking background are required to satisfy English Language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
