The Faculty of Management offers the opportunity to study a comprehensive and affordable undergraduate business management program in the heart of Europe. This offer is extended to secondary school graduates and mature students who are seeking a footing in management related science and are who will be highly qualified management support specialists capable of working in any business environment. For the prospective students, the Faculty of Management experience entails:

The charge of 3000 PLN/year applies for Polish and the EU/EFTA citizens. 2500 EUR/year for students from outside the EU/EFTA, exclusive of an additional 200 EUR charge that covers registration fee (for students of Polish origin the tuition is reduced by 30%).

In ECTS, 60 credits represent the workload of a year of study; normally 30 credits are given for a semester. It is assumed that all ECTS courses are mainstream courses of the participating institution, as followed by home students under normal regulations. It is up to the participating institution to assign credits for the different courses relative to their workload. Internships (practical placements) and optional courses which form an integral part of the course of study also receive academic credit. Non-credit courses may, however be mentioned in the transcript of records.

Course Content

The studies are organised in a form of modules. Each of the courses offered is assigned to a module. Students learn through:

  • Lectures: a formal way of teaching a large group of students
  • Seminars: a group of around a dozen students meeting with a member of staff to consider their theses or dissertations
  • Tutorials: meetings of individuals or small groups with a tutor to check out how students are progressing or discuss a particular topic in detail
  • Laboratory/language classes in specialist facilities
  • Independent study: the key element of a students transition to university learning to work either by himself/herself or as a member of a group.

During the first four semesters of the programme, students are introduced to the core elements and basics of Business Management. In the last two semesters of the programme, students have have an option of electives and at this stage they specialize into management paths which they deem suitable and relevant for their future careers.

Requirements

We welcome students who have good results in subjects such as:

The list of required documents for admission is as follows:

  • Application form that is legibly filled out using capital letters and signed;
  • Legalised document (original) confirming secondary school graduation;

  • Confirmation of the right to apply for any type of higher education programme in the country where the candidate was awarded the school leaving diploma;

  • Copy of the passport page containing the photo;

  • Three passport photographs;

  • Signed cover letter;

  • Certificate confirming the candidate's proficiency in English which is the language of instruction (i.e. Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or any other document that can certify whether a candidates high school instruction was conducted in English;

  • Confirmation that a non-returnable application fee of 200 EUR has been paid to the University of Lodz account;

  • Statutory obligation where the candidate commits to complete the nostrification process no later than until the end of the first semester of studies, provided that the candidate has been successfully enrolled, stating that in case the candidate is admitted to the studies he/she shall nostrify his/her documents by the end of the first semester.;

  • Completed and signed accommodation request form.

  • Work Experience
