Note that:

* All academic standards relative to admission, performance, and requirements for degrees are the same whether the student is on a full-time or a part-time basis.
* Students whose undergraduate degrees are in a field other than chemical engineering may be advised to take undergraduate core chemical and biochemical engineering courses before proceeding to their graduate counterparts.
* Petition for transfer of up to twelve course credits of graduate courses from other schools or from an undergraduate record (provided the credits were not used to satisfy undergraduate degree requirements) may be made to the Graduate Program Director after completion of fifteen graduate credits at Rutgers. A signed Application for Transfer of Credits must be submitted to the Graduate School Dean for approval.
* Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 with no more than two grades less than B in the core courses to remain in the program and to graduate.
