The Institution of Chemical Engineers recently published its roadmap for the 21st century with many of the recommendations related to sustainability and sustainable chemical technology. The need to accelerate the introduction of innovative and sustainable technology received particular focus. This technology will be developed by the graduates of tomorrow, particularly those of environmental and chemical engineering disciplines
