This course will prepare students to practise as contemporary and professional child and family health clinicians, painful and sensitive to the cultural requirements of consumers in urban, remote and rural surroundings; to be reflective professionals, skilled in swallowing and running research and educated enquiries. It is designed to expand the student's previous professional experiences and provide chances to reflect on and critique knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to current signs, research and literature and apply this to the practice setting.

Applicants must hold current registration as a registered nurse with an Australian physician Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and also have at least two years' job experience as a registered nurse. All candidates should complete a supplemental clinical information form at www.cdu.edu.au/sites/default/files/Supplementary-information.pdf. The shape should be done as soon as possible after submitting the SATAC application.
