The Graduate Diploma of Children's Literature provides students with advanced level skills in literary works in youngsters' Literature.It hones students' ability to investigate, analyse and contextualise topics based on historical, political, cultural and societal situation in literature for kids and young adults. The Graduate Diploma of Children's Literature aims to offer students with specialist knowledge and techniques in the business of children's literature.It was created so that students become acquainted with a broad array of texts, due to forms of genre, the cultural and historical contexts in which children's texts have been produced, and also the civic frameworks from which they have been located.The course will provide an introduction to contemporary theoretical approaches to the analysis of children's texts, and therefore beyond the span of their program, students will be armed to see texts in a more informed and theoretically educated manner.
