This amount is intended for Chinese medicine professionals desperate to strengthen their expertise and better incorporate into the healthcare system, also for scholars using a Chinese Medication specialisation seeking a pathway to research. The class includes two important flows: a clinical stream and research-training pathway. The clinical stream comes with a substantial clinical placement in a teaching hospital in China affiliated with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BJUCM) in addition to clinical specialisation workshops. An alternative is also available for students who do not wish to complete the clinical positioning abroad. Students who wish to put in the research steam have to meet entry requirements (GPA of 5); graduates of the stream might be considering furthering their studies in a higher degree. The training course is delivered via structured, intensive workshops and internet resources together with self-directed learning between workshops allowing maximum flexibility for busy professionals.
