This system aims to provide students the skills and knowledge to reduce hearing, tinnitus and balance disorders, and also to assess and treat people without hearing, tinnitus and balance disorders. It combines pre clinical and clinical analysis, including practice and theory.
The Master of Clinical Audiology is Licensed by Audiology Australia. Graduates of the Master of Clinical Audiology might apply for membership with Audiology Australia. Membership might be subject to additional or continuing requirements beyond finishing the degree. Please contact the relevant professional body to get details.
- The minimum entry requirement is successful completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or its equivalent)
- Successful applicants have to possess a 75% Weighted Average Mark (WAM) at a preceding qualification, at a related area of study, in areas like social, biological or physical sciences, health or instruction
- Before learning developed by relevant work experience or professional certification, where it is regarded as at least equivalent to that obtained through a Bachelor level, may be contemplated
- for producing an offer for an applicant, the University will pay attention to a range of elements to ascertain whether a candidate has demonstrated that the capacity to work on a Masters degree, including academic record, English proficiency, and/or employment experience
- NB: Collecting minimal prerequisites will not guarantee an offer of a place. Entry into all La Trobe courses is based on competitive selection and there can be limited places available.
