Our School of Business offers one of the few mandatory commerce co-op programs in Canada and provides the opportunity to gain "real world" business experience. Dalhousie has offered its Commerce degree for more than 80 years, and it has been a co-op program for 20 years. It's alsoaccredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
You'll complete three mandatory co-op work terms and have the option of graduating with a general commerce co-op degree or declaring one of seven major options.
Co-op work terms allow you to develop valuable skills, gain workplace experience, build a network of professional contacts and gain greater self-confidence before you begin your career—all while earning a pay cheque.
