The B Screen Media (Arts and Production) offers studies in a range of screen media capabilities and manufacturing practice fields. These include media, communications and arts as well as practical studies in media arts production, digital journalism, and together with study options additionally including noise technology and web and motion design. Teaching includes both theory and practice with reference to real life contexts highlighting future livelihood opportunities at a convergent electronic media world. Students tackle a major in Media Arts Production that covers a number of electronic platform manufacturing techniques for example short film, documentary, experimental, transmedia and TV. The interdisciplinary sub-major in social and cultural analysis provides contemporary arguments and methodologies from cultural studies and social theory. Topics include popular culture, theatre studies, everyday urban living, cultural and societal impacts of scientific concepts and new technologies along with multiculturalism.

Completed an English unit in the NSW Higher School Certificate, or Proficiency in English in IELTS 6.0 equivalent (unless a native speaker) or passed the Faculty English Evaluation at IELTS 6.0 equivalent or passed the Faculty Foundation Studies Academic English unit in C grade level or higher. Met other entry conditions such as: an ATAR identified prior to the deal of a place.
