The Bachelor of Communication has a range of studies in the fields of communication, design and media such as doctoral studies in the major fields of Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations and Media Arts Production. Teaching includes both theory and practice in regards to real world contexts emphasizing future livelihood opportunities at a convergent electronic media world. During classwork, independent analysis and involvement with the multi cultural nature of our own communities, students develop a knowledge of the area and global value of their chosen studies, together with opportunities to produce and create a variety of media outcomes as implemented professional and research projects during their research studies. Through self indulgent, team-based and problem-based learning plans requiring active involvement in the professional and community contexts, graduates learn to reflect and appreciate ethical and intellectual conduct in addition to respect for diversity and social justice principles.
The Bachelor of Communication is Licensed by professional organisations including the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and the Media Foundation of Australia (MFA).
Completed an English unit in the NSW Higher School Certificate, or competency in English in IELTS 6.0 equivalent (unless Your native speaker) or passed The College English test at IELTS 6.0 equivalent or passed The College Foundation Studies Academic English unit in C grade level or higher. Met other entry requirements such as for example: an ATAR identified prior to the offer of some place, or completed The College Foundation Studies course with a Grade Point Average of 5.5 or higher.
