A Bachelor of Computer Science - Bachelor of Laws from UOW equips students having a comprehensive legal instruction: a world class degree which offers a comprehensive grounding in law enforcement, as well as a real world focus on the essential practical abilities and the social and ethical context in which law functions. This double degree combines the pragmatic, work-related abilities of Computer Science and Science with the high-level analytical, research and communication skills of Legislation. Sophisticated technologies, such as cloudcomputing, data that is big, AI, machine learning, and block-chain, are reshaping the planet we dwell in. Huge amounts of data are accumulated as a direct result of these rapid advances made in technologies like digital sensors, biomedical and health devices, Internet of Items and datastorage. Electronic data breaches and their legal consequences have become a significant problem in most businesses. This double level delivers a practical and contextual legal instruction that prepares graduates not only for traditional careers in the legal profession but also for a vast variety of careers in government, business and community organisations - as leaders, innovators and problem solvers.

By completing a law degree at UOW, students are completing an academic qualification that is recognised for admission as a lawyer in Australia, at the mercy of completing state-approved Practical Legal Training (PLT). Students wanting to exercise as a barrister or solicitor must undertake some form of professional technical training; certain requirements vary between each country and territory. The UOW Bachelor of Legislation is accredited by the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. Students from India and Bangladesh are invited to employ. Graduates can be accredited to apply being a barrister or solicitor up on arriving home, subject to the completion of any required bridging course.

DOMESTIC STUDENTS - ATAR-BASED ADMISSION OPTIONS Guaranteed entry selection rankings Entry to this class might be gained with: Minimum ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) International Baccalaureate (IB) Interstate equivalent (including the Victorian ENTER or Queensland OP) finishes in an international qualification deemed equivalent to Australian season 12 The minimum score for guaranteed entrance (or to get consideration when this route includes limited positions ) is an ATAR-Selection Rank of 90 or an IB of 3 3. In order to be successful in your chosen class, it is assumed that you've completed important subjects in your senior high school studies or other appropriate qualifications. That is particularly critical for degrees that have a powerful basis in Mathematics or Science.
