Computer Science

The program trains computing professionals in both advanced and advanced parts of computer science and information. Students can either upgrade their knowledge and skills at a wide variety of areas or specialize in vital areas such as artificial intelligence, games technologyand software engineering and software platforms, and computer communications and networking. The program forms the very initial year of the Master of Computer Science.

• Bachelor's degree with a major in computer engineering (36 months ), the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent
• Applicants should also have good skills in today's programming language (for instance, C, C++, Java) and become conversant with an operating system such as UNIX or NT
• NB: Collecting minimal prerequisites does not guarantee an offer of an area
• Entrance in to all of La Trobe courses relies on competitive selection and there could be limited places available.
