The International Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation is a one year interdisciplinary MA Program taught in English with an option to write a thesis. Students will graduate from this program with an MA in Public Policy -Conflict Resolution and Mediation with the tools for effective analysis, mediation and negotiation strategies and conflict resolution frameworks in the international arena. Students will also receive a certificate of completion for our Workshop in International Mediation issued by Tel Aviv University.

The core courses are compulsory and amount to a total of 16 credit hours. Students will need to choose two of the required seminar courses which correspond to 6 credit hours. Among the list of diverse elective courses, we require that students take 6, corresponding to 12 credit hours. The Interdisciplinary Seminar, which weighs 3 credit hours, will expose students to experts and leaders in conflict resolution as well as educational trips throughout the year. In addition, students will pursue their own interests through research and classroom presentations. Finally, an intensive Mediation Workshop will earn students 4 credit hours.

Requirements

  • Copy of bachelor’s degree diploma- you will need to bring your original diploma at the start of the program. 
  • Official transcripts from all higher education institutions you have attended
  • Two letters of recommendation, from academic and/or professional sources
  • Personal essay
  • Resume/CV
  • Your TOEFL or IELTS exam scores, if your native language is not English or your previous academic degree was not taught in English.
  • $100 USD application fee, payable by credit card or bank transfer.
  • One passport sized photo
  • A Health Declaration (to be filled out by the applicant) and a Medical Form (to be filled out by a licensed doctor). Both forms are not mandatory while an applicant's file is marked as 'Under Review,' but are highly suggested to be sent in as soon as possible.
