The class incorporates theoretical analysis, experiential-based skill development and self-reflective clinical practice in the fields of counseling and psychotherapy.The overall theoretical orientation of the Alliance Masters is psychoanalytic also to a lesser extent systemic. At the last year of analysis, students can hone their clinical skills in a yearlong field work placement, or as an alternate to this field work placement, students with relevant previous experience may apply to perform a research endeavor.
University entry requirements apply. All applicants have to have a three year degree from a recognised university, and wait for an interview. Applicants will be asked to supply a written application and wait for an interview if they have been short listed. Preference will be given to applicants with two years full time (or equivalent) experience in an official counseling role. It is desirable that University entry requirements apply.
