The Bachelor of Creative Industries (Applied Fashion) prepares students for a lifetime career within the highly competitive fashion business. Students are required to be autonomous, focused, highly motivated and possess a strong work ethic. The training program can be found in a dynamic and creative studio atmosphere. Individual development is encouraged and nurtured through experimentation, exploration and innovation. The course intends to initially develop student's key skill-sets covering research, design, manufacturing and pattern cutting, which will underpin and inform a personalized design philosophy and also the chosen field of specialism. As students learn to excel in design, they are invited to venture outside the immediate discipline of fashion design and social networking to estimate the needs of the everchanging worldwide market to present design solutions to your future. The course participates with many market degrees, from couture to high street, through a selection of projects, lots which can be in sponsored by special labels or businesses.

Admission to this program relies on an entrance rank. A rank can be accomplished by means of a year 1-2 ATAR, other Australian eligibility, work experience, or an international qualification.
