This system provides multi-skilling and extremely marketable career avenues in criminology and law. It equips students with professional academic skills and knowledge that are necessary by the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB). It includes implemented study of crime and criminal justice emphasizing cultural and social definitions of criminality and reactions for this. Topics include criminology as a discipline; cultural and types depictions of crime; victimisation; offense avoidance plans and debates; law enforcement and surveillance; juvenile and adult justice; institutions and methods.
Graduates from this program are entitled to affect this Legal Profession Admission Board for admission to legal practice in NSW after undertaking prescribed legal training.
