The initial price was 6.960 per academic year. This year, due to the fact it is being sponsored by the UIC, the price has been reduced. This sponsorhip will be carried out starting from the 2012-2013 academic year for all students undertaking the officially recognised Degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies, and will end when they complete their studies.

Funding
From next year onwards, students who sign up for the Degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies will only have to pay half the matriculation costs. The UIC will cover 50% of the current price for each credit, so that for the 60 credits in each academic year students will only need to pay 3.540.
The Faculty Dean, Dr Teresa Vallès, made the following statement: The fact that the UIC is sponsoring the Degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies manifests a clear committment to a society impregnated with humanism as well as to training professionals in the cultural field who contribute to social progress. The message could not be clearer: the Humanities form part of the solution to the problems our society has to face."
