This fourth-year course usually serves as a prelude to some greater level of research or advanced level professional training in careers that entail complex research work. It will prepare individuals for professional or research work at the field of these taste by providing training in theory, methodology and epistemology. This Humanities stream entails study in History, Literature, Writing, Media and Screen Studies, Indigenous Research and Research.

Applicants for the program must have completed an Australian undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent with atleast a Distinction (or equivalent) average at final-year level courses.
