Design graduates who previously might have proposed a career in graphic design, advertising or media companies now face a near future where they'll be required to continuously adapt and re arrange their skills to changing work environments. This double level brings with the present Layout app together with studies which research emerging creative industries and allows students who are considering pursuing careers as designers additionally to engage with new paradigms of cultural and creative production, developing skills in entrepreneurship and working in collaborative endeavors together with creative industries in Western Sydney.

Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) graduates are eligible for membership of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA).
